Phantastische Arbeit, ich bin zwar nicht betroffen, weil wir die LED haben, aber möchte dir auch ein ganz großes Danke aussprechen.

Guide Astra k LED taillights conversion
ATTENTION You " damage " the wiring harness of the car and can no longer simply convert to the old "lightbulb" lighting.
(if you want that at all but you should warn)
Do not carry out any modifications until the ignition is off. Danger of short circuit !
Everything you need for the complete conversion of all 4 rear lights is listed here.
Tools and material :
soldering iron
Electricity thieves >> Link
Luster terminals >> Link
Side cutter
Crimping tool
M7 socket (either with a small ratchet or as a socket wrench)
Cable single core 0.50 mm² >> Link
Wiring harness tape >> link
Plastic wedges / dismantling tool
for example this one >> link
Unlocking tool for Mini ISO (is included in the package of plastic wedges but cannot say whether the correct size is included)
[/ attach]
Pins for the connector :
For the tailgate taillights you need 1-2 st. Depending on the variant (in the link there are 5 pieces included in the package)
>> Link
For the corner taillights you need 2-4 st. Depending on the variant (maybe take 1-2 more, if you don't mess around that would have happened to me )
>> Link
I recommend you a multimeter to check that my information is correct. Trust is good, control is better
Conversion tailgate taillights :
This conversion can be carried out WITHOUT getting an error message!
To start, you first have to dismantle the tailgate trim, this is only attached with clips and a screw.
The screw is in the recessed grip and the clips can best be pried off from a corner with a large plastic wedge.
1.
First you have to create a connection from lamp plug to lamp plug,
Since you now have reversing lights on both sides thanks to the LED taillights.
To do this, pull both plugs off the lamps and crimp or solder a contact on the stranded wire and plug it into the empty space on the left plug
(make sure to push it in properly until it clicks).
Then we fasten the stranded wire to the existing wiring harness in the tailgate with the adhesive tape, over to the right lamp connector the stranded wire should be longer there to have a bit of play.
It should look like this up to here
[/ attach]
2.
Now it gets tricky on the right lamp plug, you can now either take the beautiful version or the bungling version
Pin assignment right side:
Old New 1. Gray 1. Green / yellow
2. Green / yellow
2. Empty
3. Black
3. Black
4 empty
4. Gray
The nice variant :
You swap the connector pins by releasing them with a (mini ISO) unlocking tool and repositioning them.
You release the pins by pushing the unlocking tool into the connector from the front until it clicks, then you can pull the strands out of the connector at the back.
The new wire from the left lamp plug must be connected to the green / yellow wire on the right lamp plug, these are suitable
wonderfully clamp the power thief or you solder them on.
Example picture: [/ attach]
The bungling variant :
You don't have the unlocking tool or your shaft doesn't unlock the pins despite the tool.
(Spoiler didn't make it despite tools, the little plugs are kind of sucks to me : D)
Then you have to cut off the strands on the lamp plugs and solder them to the new places or use luster terminals
You occupy the void (4th) of the plug with a new pin where you have crimped or soldered a piece of stranded wire and connect it to the gray wire.
(I don't show my plug here, I'm embarrassed how it looks like my soldering iron had a bad day )
Example picture: [/ attach]
3.
Now you can expand the old lights and install and connect the new ones.
You expand the lights by unscrewing the large plastic wing nut and one
Push in the small plastic tab at the bottom of the tail light and, if necessary, compress the plastic pin, then you can easily take it out.
When installing, pay attention to the plastic nose, which must also completely snap into place.
[/ attach]
4th
Now you should perform a function test Parking light, reversing light should now work on the left and right, the rear fog light is only available on the left.
If everything works, press the inner lining back on and screw it on. Done.
The guide for the corners comes the days when it is a bit more complex, unfortunately you have to wait a little longer.
Have fun with the conversion : thumbsup:
Excellent work. We are waiting for the guide of corner tail lights!!!

Wird es eine Fortsetzung geben?

....Respekt, klasse Arbeit
...diese scheiß Fehlermeldungen kommen bei fast allem was nicht von Anfang an in den Autos ist / war.

es ist fertig

Some instructions please???

You must connect the parking light from the inner lights to the outer lights. because inner lights is plug and play on ST. You must swap pins 1 and 2 for the outer light connector (2 is empty). You connect the wiring from the inner lights to pin 1 of outer lights.
Finally, you must have the BCM reprogrammed. I recommend here https://www.facebook.com/AstrI…nd-more-1190096754484127/
He can do it remotely, but you must have owned at least a VXDIAG VCX nano.

Hi, Leute
Alex
